Where is Vitaplen® manufactured and does DTC Health follow United States Pharmacopea (USP) testing standards?
Vitaplen® is manufactured in the USA at a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility which ensures that all testing is in accordance with USP standards. The facility is also inspected by the Department of Health and Senior Services and the Consumer Environmental Health for maintenance of sanitary conditions. It is a good idea to make sure that you only purchase nutraceuticals that are produced in such a facility. Each ingredient in Vitaplen® is selected based on quality and stability. Microbiological evaluations are also conducted to confirm the absence of things like yeast, mold, salmonella, E. Coli, BSE, Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas Aerunginosa, Mercury, etc. Every batch has strict quality controls to ensure that all of the ingredients listed on the label are in fact included in the exact dosages stated. These quality controls include quality specifications and raw material specification documentation to confirm that things such as the pH and assay are within acceptable limits.

Is Vitaplen® available in stores?
Vitaplen® is sold here and in doctor's and healthcare practitioner's offices, health clubs and health food stores. If Vitaplen® is not supplied at your favorite store or health care practitioner's office, ask them to carry it for you. Is Vitaplen® approved by the FDA?
Vitaplen® is a dietary supplement and as such is not subject to approval by the FDA in the same way pharmaceuticals are. Vitaplen® is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. |
Do you ship Vitaplen® outside of the United States?
Please note that we do not ship to Norway, Austria, North Korea, Sudan or Germany because these countries will not accept our products. Does Vitaplen® need to be refrigerated?

What roles does each individual vitamin found in Vitaplen® do for our bodies?
Vitamin A - is essential for healthy growth and development, maintenance of strong bones, teeth and membranes, good vision (especially night vision) and for protecting the body and skin from infections. Vitamin A is found in fruits and vegetables, especially leafy greens. Carrots are an especially good source of vitamin A and it is the reason why they are attributed to good eyesight. Vitamin A is stored in the liver and can provide the body with the necessary amounts for a few months
Thiamin (Vitamin B1) - vital in breaking down foods and aiding in the release of energy
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) - releases energy from foods to assist in healthy skin, hair and nails
Niacin (Vitamin B3) - helps in the maintenance of healthy nervous and digestive systems
Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5) - vital for the production of antibodies
Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) - essential for healthy skin, muscles, blood and nervous system
Folic Acid - crucial in the formation of new body cells and healthy blood cells
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) - vital in the formation of healthy red blood cells
Vitamin C - is essential for collagen production, healthy connective tissue and protein fibers, healthy teeth, gums, and muscles. It also helps our immune system fight infection by boosting the white blood cells. Fruits and vegetables are the main source of vitamin C.
Vitamin D - helps the body absorb calcium and so is essential for strong and healthy bones. Vitamin D is not found in many foods but unlike other vitamins, our bodies can produce vitamin D with exposure to sunlight.
Vitamin E - is an antioxidant because it helps protect cells from damage. It is commonly found in vegetable oils, margarine, wheat germ, nuts and leafy green vegetables.
What time of day should I take Vitaplen®?
Vitaplen® can be taken at any time of the day you wish. Most of our customers take it with breakfast. Vitaplen® can be energizing so it is recommended that you take at the beginning of your day.
